| Heat-insulating
system of EKOSTYR is, thanks to its low bulk density and to its relatively high
heat resistance and compressive strength, predetermined for heat-insulating systems
used in building industry. In practice it is used for floor insulation of floor
structures, building structures, roof structures and piping of various type, such
as water piping, sewage piping, electrical distributions,… Heat-insulating
system of EKOSTYR belongs to relatively low labour-consuming wet technological
trades. It is applied right onto bearing structure of ceiling, roofing or right
onto a floor structure. Its great advantage is in the fact that it does not need
any flat adjusted basement and that it can ideally infill gaps in between e.g.
piping. The mixture surface can be easily adjusted by grinding after its mature.
Manipulation and treating of EKOSTYR is allowed at temperatures down to + 5°C.

Preparation of ekostyrconcrete
To prepare Ekostyrconcrete you need to pour a pre-designed amount of water
to additives, to add cement and mix it to reach a cement binder substance. Then
add sand and again mix it together. Continually add EKOSTYR and mix it as soon
as a homogeneous semi-automatic-dry mass ensues. If the mass is dry and cohesionless,
there is a need of adding a little water there.
